Charlottesville Senior Photographer: Virginia

She’s cute, she’s spunky, she’s got a heart of gold. Really, she’s just plain adorable. Meet Virginia!

What better way to spend a lovely fall afternoon than frolicking about Farmington Country Club?!

Love this one!

Gorgeous girl!

Miss you so much, Virginia Casey! Thank you for being you – in life and in front of the camera! xoxo

I can’t tell you how much fun I had doing this best friends session with Katie and Chandler at the Boar’s Head Inn this past fall! Seniors, if you are on the fence about whether to ask your best friend along to your senior session, I would definitely say “go for it”! It’s a great way to break the ice in front of the camera and you’ll come away after having a great time and with images that you can look back at when your old and wrinkly and smile.

Have a great weekend!!

Charlottesville Senior Photographer: Grace

On a warm October afternoon I met up with Grace at her home for one of my favorite senior sessions of the fall. I love how Grace’s personality lights up these photos, and her wardrobe is stylish and timeless. Her parents are avid gardeners, so we had plenty of awesome spaces to shoot around her house. I couldn’t have asked for more!

Much more goodness from our senior marathon coming soon!!

Happy New Year! I hope that 2012 was full of adventures, victories (big and small), challenges, laughter and innumerable blessings and that you’re looking forward to all that 2013 has in store for you! For us, 2012 was a year of trying all things new. We moved to a new state, John started a new job, I am in the midst of transitioning my photography business to the west coast, we got a puppy, we went from living on our own to living with my parents, the list goes on. But in the midst of all the newness and change, John and I have done it together, and I couldn’t ask for anything more!

But before I get too carried away with 2013, I need to backtrack a little bit to finish showing you all of 2012! Remember that senior marathon I was telling y’all about this fall? Well, I barely scratched the surface, so I think it’s time we circle back to the Class of 2013!

Katherine, one of my dynamite Spanish 3 students, met with me at Ash Lawn-Highland this past fall for her senior portraits. As you’ll quickly see, she just completely ROCKED the session!

Don’t you love her boots with the cargo jacket!? Very Virginia. Very classy.

Katherine changed into something a little softer and feminine, so I went in search of the light to match.

Beauty and brains!

Before finishing up, I caught a few family photos for them as well.

There’s nothing better than a family, holding hands, arms around each other, laughing.:)

Un abrazo fuerte,
