Charlottesville Wedding Photographer: Ashley + Ryan

I thought I would take a break from senior portraits this week to show y’all some of my favorite images from Ashley and Ryan’s stunning wedding at Veritas Vineyard. Although we hadn’t met Ashley and Ryan before the wedding we had a feeling that they were going to be extra awesome because a) they chose to get married at Veritas (one of our all time favorite venues), and b) they had the amazing women at Shindig Weddings and Events running the show. And guess what? Our hunch was right on. Both Ashley and Ryan were one hundred percent genuine, thoughtful and off the charts cute together, and Shindig did an incredible job making sure every i was dotted and t was crossed and that the day ran super smoothly. It was a total win-win!!

My day began upstairs with Ashley and her best girls in the bridal loft. I squealed with delight when I saw this Rosa Clara (yay Spain!!) gown hanging in the corner.

Everyone was all smiles as they helped Ashley prepare to walk down the aisle.

The beautiful bride!!!

Meanwhile, downstairs in the wine cellar, the guys were hanging out and finishing the last minute touches.

While the boys were busy finishing up, I snuck Ashley outside for a few portraits of her and her bridesmaids.

Pretty girls!

I was so excited when Ryan and Ashley told me they wanted to do a First Look in the vineyard. We couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque location, better lighting or sweeter couple.

Just look at Ryan’s reaction. This is why I love First Looks!!

Once the First Look was over we still had plenty of time to frolic in the vineyard. These are definitely some of my favorites from the day.

Gorgeous!!

Such a good lookin’ group.:)

I love this shot of them praying right before the ceremony…

Promise me that you’ll check back tomorrow for Part Two because Ryan and Ashley’s sunset ceremony and ballroom reception are off the charts gorgeous with sweeping views of the Blue Ridge, romantic vineyard vistas and lots of lovely details. See you tomorrow with all the goodies!!
Un abrazo fuerte,
Natalie

I love that deep purple color of her shoes and the bridesmaid dresses — it goes so well with the orange lilies!
