Charlottesville Wedding Photographer | Lauren + Josh

I couldn’t think of a better way of starting off this glorious three day weekend than with Josh and Lauren’s gorgeous Castle Hill Cider wedding. So grab your favorite drink in a mug, bottle or glass, take a seat and get ready to swoon!

Now who wouldn’t want to keep traveling down this dirt road!? It’s just so lovely and inviting.:-)

My first stop was the upstairs loft where I found this dreamy gown…

The loft came alive as the girls began to arrive and started getting ready.

Even the ring bearer was dressed to impress.:-)

In the meantime, John was outside hangin’ with the guys.

What a good lookin’ group.

Back inside, Lauren and her girls finished some last minute touch-ups and then it was time to get Lauren into her dress!

Lauren’s mom helping her with the last few buttons and the veil…

My goodness, Lauren. You seriously take my breath away.:-)

I wasn’t the only one who had to get some pictures of the beautiful bride.:-)

Although the forecast had called for thunderstorms that day, up until this point in the afternoon we had only seen sunny skies and white puffy clouds. Josh, however, is starting to notice a change in the clouds. White is now looking much more grey…

Right before lining up, all of Lauren’s bridesmaids gathered around her to pray for her and Josh. What a beautiful moment!

Such a great moment between father and daughter…

I love the look on Josh’s face here. Pure joy!

The kiss!

And WOOOSH….a big gust of wind and rain swept through the crowd and quickly everyone scrambled for their umbrellas. Talk about perfect timing!

I love that the bride and groom had a pink one!

How cute is this shot!? Pure lemonade from lemons!

Josh and Lauren were such great sports. Even though it was storming outside and we couldn’t take pictures on the property, we had no trouble finding great light for them…

Ahhhhh….I love these two!

As you can see, these two are dynamite and they have a wedding and venue to match! Stay tuned because Part Two is going to knock your socks off.:-)
Have a wonderful weekend, travel safely and we’ll see you back on Monday. Same time, same place!
Un abrazo,
