It’s always good to come home. Don’t get me wrong, I love to travel (especially back to hometown San Diego), but I’m always anxious to get back to my bed, routine, and, of course, my sweet husband. It’s always best when John can come along, but, alas, he had to work his day job, so I was left to travel solo. After all this build up, you’re probably wondering where I went! Well, I was in San Diego for my sister’s engagement party as well as for PartnerCon, a photography workshop/conference hosted by Pictage. I had never attended a PartnerCon conference, and I’m so glad that I went! I learned so much and came away with so many ideas that I want to implement in 2012! Yay for inspiration and improving! I promise there will be another post including pictures! (Wow, that’s a lot of !!!)
Anyhoo, the real reason that I am blogging today is because I fell head-over-heels in love with Miss Jennie, a 2012 graduate, during our senior session out at this Scottsville farm. Don’t get me wrong, I love shooting around UVa and in Charlottesville, but it’s also exciting to try someplace new. When I arrived, Jennie greeted me with a big smile and a pair of two-steppin’ cowgirl boots. Let’s just say she rocked our session. After climbing on hay bails, jumping fences, making friends with the horses and four outfit changes later, this is what we have to show for it….pretty fine, if you ask me.
Happy Friday, Veteran’s Day and 11.11.11!
