I love families. I love seeing how siblings interact with each other, their inside jokes, and their different personalities and interests all coming together. No family is perfect, but in most cases, when push comes to shove, we are there for each other, either with a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear or an encouraging word. So you can only imagine my excitement when the Huddleston’s contacted me to take some portraits of their kids a few weeks back. The occasion was Emily’s high school graduation party at Keswick Hall, and with five kids ranging from third to twelfth grades, we had no shortage of great photographic material.
To begin the session, we had Emily pair up with her youngest sister, Kate. How cute are these two??
Kate and the whole gang!
The lovely graduate…
I was so excited that Emily’s best friend, Maddie, was also there to join in on the pictures. These two are always so adorable together!
Emily with her sister, Claire, and brother, Joseph.
Just the girls…
What a good-looking bunch!
Emily, you are STUNNING!
The whole family!
The room at Keswick Hall had been beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and pictures of Emily throughout the years.
Grandparents are such a blessing!
Joe and some of his friends…
Paul, Dori, Emily, Joe, Claire and Kate: You guys are fantastic people, and you have a wonderful family! Your kind hearts and love for each other were so amazing for us to see! Emily and Maddie, congratulations on your graduation, and all the best to you both as you move on to UVA. You both are going to be great additions to that school!
