New York City Wedding, Part Two | Kierstin + Wes

Welcome back to the second half of Wes and Kierstin’s New York City wedding! Besides the fact that we got to capture the love between two of our favorite people, there was also an undeniable beauty found in the simple elegance of the day that left both John and me refreshed and inspired.

Since these two had a First Look, we were able to take a peaceful stroll around the neighborhood after the ceremony to give these two some time to connect and relax before heading in to the reception.

Back inside, John was busy capturing all the fall-inspired details. I loved the modern meets vintage feel of the space!

Kierstin was so creative and scoured Ebay for these 1920’s NYC postcards to add to her table decor. The best part was reading all the notes that people had written on the backs!

Cute little magnets made from pieces of a NYC map  were used to pin up the guests’ table assignments.

Before we knew it it was time for Wes and Kierstin’s first dance together as husband and wife!

Next up were Kierstin and her father…

And then it was time to get the party started!

Wes’s father and best man and Kierstin’s sister and maid of honor also offered heartfelt words and a toast to the newlyweds.

Okay, this might be my favorite cake (both in terms of looks and taste) of all time. Actually, hands down, it’s my favorite.:)

It just isn’t a wedding reception without a little YMCA.:)

Kierstin and Wes: John and I were honored to be there by your sides and behind the lens, capturing the big moments, the small moments and all the beauty, joy and love in between. We wish you every blessing, and we can’t wait to come visit y’all again in NYC!

Un abrazo fuerte,
Natalie
