Remember this cute couple from their UVa engagement session this past summer? Well I don’t know where the time goes, but before we knew it John and I were boarding a plane back to Charlottesville for their wedding day last month at the beautiful Keswick Vineyards. We always know we’re in for a treat whenever we shoot at Keswick, but with Laura and Josh as our bride and groom, we knew it was going to be an extra special day!
When I walked into the bridal suite my eyes immediately gravitated toward Laura’s beautiful gown hanging near the window.
This handkerchief has been in Laura’s family for generations. I love that she was able to add her name to the list of brides that carried it on their wedding day!
I always love watching everyone’s reaction when the bride finally slips into her gown.
Meanwhile, Josh was working on some of his finishing touches.
The guys were looking really sharp!
Instead of a traditional First Look, Josh and Laura wanted the opportunity to hold hands and talk to each other but without seeing each other. This was such a special moment for them but still kept Laura a surprise for Josh down the aisle!
Before we knew it, the ceremony was underway!
At long last, Mr. and Mrs.!!!
I love these shots of Laura and her best girls.
The whole team!
The Vineyard at sunset. It just doesn’t get any more dreamy than this!
I couldn’t believe how perfect the lighting was for Laura’s bridal portraits!
I hope that after viewing Part One of Josh and Laura’s wedding you have been stirred from your candy coma and that your Friday is even brighter.Go and have a fabulous weekend, but make sure to check back on Monday for Part Two. There is so much more goodness to come!
Un abrazo fuerte,
